This is NOT how I wanted my 3rd flight of my p4 to end.
I obviously got a LOT to learn about how to fly this a/c for distance. My throttle was controlled and my bat % was good coming back until I hit 16000' and only had 15% then I new it wouldnt make it. Better luck next time[emoji41]

I have very strange problem. After second flight i start to lost signal in 400 meters. When i land i continue to lost signal but betwen antenna and bird is less then 1 meter. I use unboosted Maxx antenna. Never seen before and don't have idea how to resolve.

I do outside it's good connected. Will open controler later, but no reasons to happen something.

Do you expire the priblem that when the bird is on the top of you 200+ meters to have weak signal ?

I've got the regular DBS and the Maxx. I can fly both close by with no issues like you are having. I have read similar issues on this forum and most of the time ends up being an issue with cables. Either pinched inside the remote or the ones outside the remote have been bent too many times and are damaged inside the insulation.
Do you have some pics you could share of your RC setup?
Also, you should start another post on this so we are not hijacking this thread. (Sorry Jake)

19035 feet Stock! Almost didn't make it back. The wind got a hold of it. I had to swim over a small boat canal to retrieve it after I landed it.

I was told you can't turn that off on the P4, which is a shame because we're going to have to find a workaround for that wonderful MultiStar 5.2 battery! Splitting it decreases flight time, at least in most peoples experience.
