New Phantom 2 H3-3D Gimbal Question

Does anyone know if the new version of the P2 with the H3-3D gimbal support the new GP Hero 4?

The answer is not simple and it is being discussed in about 50 different threads on this forum so you're going to have to search and do some reading to get your answer.

I have seen others asking about using the GP Hero 4 on the h3-3D, but not in reference to the new version of the Phantom 2. With all of the upgrades that have been made, was wondering if the gimbal had undergone any modification to go along with the other upgrades.

I have the Phantom 2 Version 2 and just got it to work with Hero 4 Black. I had to downgrade the H3-3D gimbal using Part 56 from helidirect.com. There are videos and it was a simple process. My only issue is balancing the gimbal a bit but other than that, it seems fine.
