I can't see how they could sell a Standard for under $300. You gotta figure the battery is worth around $120. That leaves the bird, RC, props, charger, gimbal and camera for $180.

They can sell it under $200 and still make money. $120 is just the price tag they put on battery. If you buy the RC, charger and gimbal from DJI separately, it will cost a lot more.
