Not great news if you live on the Avalon peninsula.

Seems like new regulations popping up everywhere. The day is coming fast when soon everyone will need a license to fly which is probably a good thing to weed out the idiots.

In was just in Newfoundland, the rulings are harsh, but, so is the weather. Could not get in the air for more than a couple hours out of the 12 days I was there!
Broke an old record, winds up to 135km;s/hr.
Couldn't walk let alone fly!

More fear mongering by the media. Whether you are licensed or not, anything flying through the air can be dangerous.

Seeing that Legrow has had a close call with a drone while flying a plane near Seattle I am not sure how Canadian drone restrictions are going to help him with that.

I think a lot of these "professional" drone pilots are getting upset that they are losing business and that the skies are getting crowded which inconveniences them.

A lot of over reaching by the Government to solve a problem that isn't backed by real facts or hard data.
