Motors won't start

It is brand new and never flown and motors won't start.

I powered on the remote with throttle down 1st.
Then I connected battery to phantom.

I have watched most all of Colin Guinns preflight tutorials.
For my 1st flight all I wanted to do is hover, but no can do.

Problem solved. Someone posted in another forum the same issue.
The answer was to pull both levers down to start motors.
