Lost signal when stopping

I noticed today that whenever I let go and the quad stopped, I lost signal for a moment. Anyone else encounter this?

If you watch it the phantom will tilt quite a lot if you stop suddenly, the antennas are in the back legs so they wouldn't be aligned with the controller for a second or two.
Try stopping more gently to compare?
