Let's see some videos!

My today's attempt for making some observation at a bird sanctuary for nesting colony.

Its not cine style or landscape but surely for a good observation use this can be good option if we ncan attach some tele conversion to keep fov close.

No scenery, just a bit of fun in the park!

Stunning footage of Guilin and Yangshuo (China)

Hi all,

OMG, I just came back from a trip to Guilin and Yangshuo (China) and shot some gorgeous footage of the area using my Vision+. Both these regions are UNESCO world heritage sites that need to be seen to be believed. Simply spectacular topography that has been crafted over millions of years. Not to be missed for anyone visiting China.

Here is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryJrPfi ... e=youtu.be

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Very good work. Well done.

I haven't had a lot of great locations lately, but I'm still flying and videoing.

The minor league baseball season is over for this year and the Frederick, MD Harry Grove Stadium home of the Orioles class A farm team, the Frederick Keys is empty (although a car club has rented the parking lot for a car show). But next door the little leaguers are still busy playing ball. Across the road from the baseball complex is the Mount Olivet Cemetery where Francis Scott Key (writer of the National Anthem - The Star Spangled Banner) is buried. This version of the video is cropped a bit and has its contrast increased slightly.

Various Aerial Footage From My Hometown

Hey guys! This is my first ever post to the forum and it's great to finally be part of the community at last! I recieved my Vision 2 Plus last week and have loved every minute flying the bird! No mishaps so far fortunately other than accidently tipping it during take off in the wind which caused by not enough throttle....silly newbie pilot error but i have learnt :)

Anyways here is just some footage i piled together of my hometown. Please note the footage is raw and has not been edited other than amateurly cut together with some music. I hope you enjoy :D

First flight that wasnt at a park or school field.
Shot at Island Bay, Wellington NZ. 720p 60 frames. Removed fish eye in after effects. adjusted contrast (maybe a bit too much!)
Sorry, about the raw footage.

I am going to try 1080 next time, or play with sharpness or focus settings. Not entirely happy with the quality of video. Needs tweaking somewhere.

Out buzzing around the edge of Calgary today. I was over Griffith Woods and the Tsuu T'ina Nation.

And here is my first post and my first video I am reasonably happy with:

It all came together when I found out that I can edit video in Photoshop.

This is stunning! The opening in the fog - just amazing. Very good start. Little advice: when you put dissolve transition make sure there is no movement at the end of transition.

Thank you very much - yes indeed I still have a hard time cutting things, there are quite a few "jerks" right at the end. Not sure whether that is really due to movement or the blending algorithm of iMovie. I guess I'll have to start looking into FCPX *sigh*.

With regards to the fog: That was a scary moment: Obviously I lost sight of the Phantom pretty quickly and when I looked down on the remote and my iPhone to check where it is I noticed quite a bit of condensation building up on things. My first thought was: If the Phantom shorts out while in the air above a river it'll be a very long talk to my wife... I let it ascent a bit (to clear trees) and then moved it sideways away from the river before getting it back and calling it a day.

Here is a few flights I did this week on a drive I made up 395 on a business trip through California towards Carson City, NV. As always, I had my Phantom 2 with me. GoPro 3+, HD-3D gimbal. Hope you enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuI1dF5HD9I
If you have questions or are trying to decide on what Phantom (or multi-rotor in general) to choose, I have a few videos on my YouTube channel that answer a few questions.
