Very nice! Where were you when you were filming? Did you have another boat off to the side? Where did you take off and land? You got a few drops of water on the lens. Were you nervous being so close to the boats and the water?

It was hard and took me a while to get confident with getting close to the rafts, most of the video I was sitting on the river side and we had a separate raft to go ahead of the group. At one point I got into a raft and controlled the Phantom from a moving raft in the smaller rapids.

About landing and take off I do it with one hand on the controller and another hand grabbing the Phantom. The places where you see tons of water on the camera lens it's just a gopro mounted on helmet.

After a long day of class, I packed my kit and decided going to the beach was a good idea to go to IN UNIFORM. We had fun though!

One lady walked up behind me and asked if I was filming and what was the name of the flying thing, but I totally ignored the lady.

There's a lot of firsties in this video.

1. I forgot to pack the sunshade for monitor.
2. First time flying around a beach.
3. First time flying around SAND... I hate them even MORE now.
4. First time hand catching 3+ times and it was AWESOME. Goodbye tip-overs!

Thing's I've learned.

1. No matter how much you say "DON'T GO NEAR IT".. yeah, it doesn't work.
2. Hand catching was a Godsend.
3. Sand... I forgot how low my gimbal gets and while it's off, don't set it on the sand like I just did.
4. Sand [beep]ed up my case inside and out... handle sounds like it get's sanded every time I pull it in/out.
5. Don't forget the sunshades!!

Thank you very much, it's well appreciated. I had my phantom for 3 months now and I really love, I just wish the camera had better quality. It's most likely what they will do in the next update.

Finally on day 7 I did this video

Camping at Sault Ste Marie MI, for seven days. Had rain, high winds, fog, mist, and cold. On day seven, the fog had lifted at 11 am. In northern Michigan, the weather can be unpredictable in August.
