Wharf banger,
Great shots of the barquentine "The Spirit of New Zealand". Had never seen a tall ship w/ square sails only on the foremast. Well done. You look pretty far out there...... any range mods?
Will

Thanks Will. Just the original Wifi Booster App. From memory I was around 700-800m distance at maximum

Up early this morning to take this video of the sunrise over the beach at Hua Hin in Thailand, during our holiday. What a beautiful country. Something about taking it way out to sea that gives you that kick in the solar plexus...

Awesome scenery. Very smooth slow turn on that one shot! How did you manage that? My slow turns are not consistent. Maybe I just need more practice!

Had it with me on my scooter and there are helmeth video but it also have two aerial segments in it, one at roadside and one at a recurring open-air exhibition of nice "wheels".
Scooter Ride with the goal of Nifsta, this with some Aerial Footage also from the car and mc event,

Our first video!

Hi everyone, firstly my thanks to all here in these forums I've trawled to learn how to properly fly this thingy, you've been a great help! From my initial heart attacks with losing the GPS while videoing to calibration advice - I thank you!

He is the first video we've made from our efforts. I've called it "Serendipity" because most of the shots were happy accidents while I was learning to fly. In fact the very last shot was not flown by anyone at all, but was the video captured during my first major heart attack when trees caused a disconnection and it RTH!

I hope you like it, thanks again!

Re: Our first video!

Soooo envious of people who live in Ireland with scenery like that all around. Awesome video.

Re: Our first video!

Simply stunning. Either you have previous non-phantom video experience or you are a prodigy!!!! great work

Re: Our first video!

Very nice. I must say, two months ago, I had no idea how to upload a picture or a video, post on You Tube or even fly these things. I have a long way to go. Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the great work. If you can recommend any tips for the novice, like editing software, where to get decent royalty free music and so on, it'd be greatly appreciated.
A funny thing, whenever I get the craft up to any decent altitude, I start trembling, thinking there goes $1,400.00. At only around ten flights in so far, I am still at $140.OO a pop. I guess, I need to have a little more faith in it. I keep thinking it's going to fly off or come crashing down, like I'm gonna catch it somehow, lol.

Re: Our first video!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

It kinda really is my first one - I was given a hodge-podge of footage of a wedding recently and I put that together as a practice, but this is my first attempt at 'my' video. So technically it's my second editing job I suppose :)

I'm pretty much a novice myself, I only started flying these things a few months ago. The best advice I ever had was to start small, so I got a Hubsan x4 to practice on and now the Phantom is way less scary. Editing-wise I use Adobe Premiere but there are a host of others, and some decent free ones too I think (but not sure). And as to the music... er... I just love this guy's music and hope he doesn't take it down! If he did it would be a disaster, but I'm hoping it might get him a few more album sales at least! I've no idea where to look for royalty-free stuff but I hear there is a wealth of it out there.

Mods: sorry, I should have put the post in this thread in the first place, sorry about that.

Nothing fancy. Just a bit of fun up at the local ski-field yesterday. Boarding down the hill with my phantom strapped to my hydration pack was interesting again.. Really need a better solution for that!
