Lame firmware release date

Stupid release date, right before one of their larger markets has the majority of its populations home from work. I woke up wanting to go fly today and saw the upgrade firmware message but I'm unable to download the latest firmware, it keeps stopping at 27% download after about 30 minutes. Transfer is only @ 37kbps over my 50mb connection.
I do not like flying with the update firmware message.

Don't worry too much about it. Just fly close in for a minute or two and confirm everything is working right and if so, fly and enjoy. Try updating again well after hours if you can stay up past midnight when Internet traffic will slow down. If you have slow Internet in your area I would avoid all day tomorrow too, as it's black Friday and the Internet will have seriously heavy traffic. Off hours is best. I've been flying for weeks with an update message for the rc and now another new one is here. Early next week I'll update the go app first and then do the rc update.

nothing bad will happen if you will not update your bird with latest firmware.
