I installed same aluminum bracket as Martin Smith today. I can confirm that there is a real improvement in stability for larger tablets such as my Nexus 9. This should have been a DJI standard choice for the Phantom 3 Pro/Advanced controller. Delivery to France took 12 days.

Shipping took 10 days to the US. This thing is rock solid. Much more solid than the plastic version the P3P ships with, even tightened down with a wrench. Definitely worth the few bucks it costs.
