FPV Camera (iOS) for Phantom 3 is released and available NOW in App Store https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fpv-camera/id1017170829?ls=1&mt=8

Many members PM me in the past few days with similar questions about DJI firmware and iOS support of the app, goggles mode, import/export flight log, etc. I prefer to post the questions and answers in the thread to share with all members.

I have a Phantom 3P and would like to get the FVP Camera App. I have updated the firmware of the Phantom, Controller and Battery to firmware 1.3.2.
Two questions:
1: Does the App run with the 1.3.2 firmware?
2: Does the App run on the IPad 2 v8.4?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks!

1. The app support firmware 1.1.6 or above.
2. The app support iOS 8 or above (including 8.4) with compatible iDevices. I'm unsure what device are you using iPad 2 (not compatible), iPad Mini 2 (compatible) or iPad Air 2 (compatible).

Looks nice at first glance.

Many pilots are experiencing a tilted horizon. Some are able to correct this using the gimbal roll adjustment in the Pilot/GO app. Does your app support a gimbal roll adjustment?

If one make a purchase for the goggles on his Ipad Air, must he also make a separate purchase on his Iphone 6?

The app doesn't support gimbal adjustment for the time being, but we can add this feature if necessary. I thought the FW 1.3.2 fixed this issue, after proper IMU calibration.

I have is a second generation iPad not the iPad mini 2.
iPad 2 model MV763LL/A
IOS Version 8.4 (12H143)

You can share the app across all devices with the same Apple ID. For in-app purchase (like FPV Goggles), you may use "Restore In-App Purchase" in Help to share with other devices.

Not so unfortunately. Its hit or miss. Some have seen a help, some have not. Many of the folks who are still suffering need the gimbal roll adjustment, although even that is not a fix for everyone. In my case, the gimbal tilt angle changes throughout a flight, so even with a gimbal roll adjustment I will still have a tilted horizon. Others however have better results with the adjustment, especially now since DJI finally made the adjustment a sticky setting that does not need to be entered every flight. You should put this feature on your list for the next release.

Saved gimbal roll adjustment seems a quick way to workaround with this temporary, but I heard some still not leveling due to adjustment keeps changing after power cycle P3. We have been exploring an "automatic" way to adjust the gimbal roll setting.

I don't think iPad 2 is in P3 compatibility list, which is under power to process DJI Lightbridge HD video streaming.

Two things, last night, I noticed the Ipad Air screen slightly rolling, not a complete roll, but a faint roll. It was just a faint roll, have not noticed that in dji Go.
Second, can you post instructions so I can print, Facebook cuts them off and I can't read it.

Any chance to post 2 screenshots to compare such "faint roll" of FPV app with DJI app?

For printing OP's FB links, I use IE with these steps (1) highlight & select the content (2) Ctrl+P (3) pick "Selection" in Page Range (4) click "Print" button. Other browsers might work in similar way.
