Im thinking you dont understand what the word "Epic" means. not to be to blunt but it was just a phantom flying in a back yard and crashing/tipping over. None of the crashes were that bad either...just flying to fast and not having control of it

Yeah.. I kinda agree with you here. I was actually filming my friends first time flying.

Tell your friend to remove the tape stripes from the two arms it shouldn't be on. Be much easier to tell forward from back. They are just on the front two for a reason.

I am a little concerned that they are flying without first getting GPS lock and establishing a home point, if this person flying is a new pilot. They will not have the aid of the GPS and could be experiencing what they "think" is a flyaway when in fact it is acting the way it would since it is flying in "attitude" mode.

    *Radio on
    *Phantom on
    *Calbibrate compass ( http://youtu.be/ernG0UGfJRM )
    *Wait for green LED's
    *Start motors
    *throttle up
    *Flight control check
    *Enjoy

He was really exited and didn't want to waste time on waiting for it to get a gps lock so he just turned it on and started flying but you are completely right
