I used to use DJI Go 2.9.6 because it worked perfectly fine. No bugs. Everything was smooth.
Recently it stopped working. When turned on it shows a message saying i have to update it. I couldn't turn the message off.
I updated it and the new version is terrible with Here maps.

What can i do? If i install old version, will it still ask me to update?
Is there a way for me NOT to have Here maps?

The Android app was updated due to an issue where rth was placed wrong resulting in lost quad.

2.6.0, 2.6.1, 2.8.3, 2.9.1 and 3.0.1

Hey man- check out this post. ferraript managed to edit the Android APK file so the pop-up is optional for 2.6.0, 2.6.1, 2.8.3, 2.9.1 and 3.0.1. I went ahead and moved to 3.0.1, as it still has google maps and they work :)
DJI forces us to take the GO update v3.1.3 [Android].
