Discharging/Cycling Batteries, what do you use?

Are the healthy drone recommendations a waste of time then ?

So is it NOT a good idea to run them down to 1 light and put it away till the next time you need it, then recharge it?

In the Battery Safety Guidelines, DJI recommends storing the batteries between 40%-65% charged when they will not be used for 10 days or more.

That's old stuff.
No need to do anything except make sure battery is 100% charged before flying.
I have done this for over a year now with no issues.

I'm deep cycling mine after every 10 full cycles to balance cells perfectly, i don't feel comfortable doing long distance flights (down to few %) without. I do this with external batteries too.
