CRASHED BATTERIE

Yesterday i crashed my dji vision 2 +

The batterie jumped away after the crash. And it smashed agains the floor.



1. How do i repair the batterie?

If it is not possible...
2. How do i dispose? can i have it in the house? Is there any risk it burns itself?

It is almost new!

The quadcopter is in bad condition, but about that i will tell you next time.

I'd say that's dead....

Best place is a local recycling centre.

Must have been a really hard crash.
I suspect that battery is toast.
If you can manage to get it working again, it will classify in the category " unreliable ".

Maybe it is just me, but I would be more concerned in the condition of the quad copter. If the battery is in that bad a shape, it might be interesting to see some pics of the bird itself. Sorry about your crash.

I will post an extensive review about the crash and my doubts. My mother language is spanish, i can only tell you before how it can be evaluated:

Pequeña evaluaciòn de daños:

1 baterìa inutilizada
1 gimbal inutilizado
1 cámara desconectada
1 helice destrozada

En el mismo cuerpo:

Al intentar poner las hèlices:

1 helice enrosca bien y gira bien

1 helice enrosca bien pero al girar raspa contra el brazo
(brazo dañado y doblado)

1 helice no enrosca (punto negro) (hay que forzarla un poco para enroscar)

1 helice no enrosa (punto gris) (hay que forzarla un poco para
enroscar)

Al colocar la batería:
Funciona la baterìa puesta

Al encender la baterìa en el phantom pero sin helices:

TODOS los motores ENCIENDEN

TODAS LAS LUCES FUNCIONAN

In the same body:

When trying to put the propellers:

One propeller twists and turns rather well

One propeller when turning scraps against the arm.
(damaged and bent arm)

1 propeller cant be screwed (black dot) (you have to force it a little to tighten)

1 propeller cant be screwed (gray dot) (you have to force it a little to
screw)

By placing the battery ( a new one):
The battery starts and works

When you turn the battery on the phantom but helices:

ALL engines work

ALL LIGHTS WORK

Wow, I would not store that battery in your house. To many horror stories of damage Lipo's catching fire or exploding.

No Way!

Lipos have a bad rep. and while I may not practice some of the cautions others take, a damaged one that can never be reused has no place in my house.
