It will work fine but won't charge your controller any faster. If you have current IOS devices they come with the same basic charger.

iPad charger I believe is 2A, iPhone is 1A.

Any that state Constant Current or Constant Amps .... labeled CC or CA.

To OP ... any wall charger that charges your mobile / tablet via micro USB is fine ...

You have my curiosity. I have never come across any chargers sold like that (ie with attached micro usb plugs), or are they hack jobs?
