Can't connect my P2 to my computer

I was reading this post about the new firmware update for the P2 and thought I should install it. Downloaded the driver, the Phantom assistant and tried to connect my bird to the software for the first time but nothing happens. Trying to figure out what is wrong. When I start the Assistant I get an image with a progression bar that doesn't move and the possibility to skip. When I skip and enter the software nothing happens even is I connect the P2 as instructed in the manual. Any idea? Thanks.

Phantom is powered on right ?
Win driver installed ?

Yes, it'on on when I plug it in. Also tried turning it on once it's plugged. Installed the driver yes.

-Try different USB cables, start with the one DJI supplied if you aren't using it already.
-Try different USB ports

I had a similar problem, just uninstalled and reinstalled all software that seemed to work, hope you get it sorted.
