    when i turn controller on and aircraft battery on the camera will move my question is, is it OK to leave the brace on when i want to turn both on (not fly)?

    No -- you should always remove the gimbal lock before powering on your Phantom. Otherwise, you might damage the gimbal since the lock restricts its movement.
