I have received the DJI datalink (LK24-BT), but I don't intend on flying with waypoints much of the time.
I also have the DJI FPV hub/iOSD mini/AVL58 plus a GPS tracker and thus want to save on weight when I can.

a) Can anyone share a photo of how they've attached their air-end of the datalink to their phantom 2?
b) Do people recommend velcro or another way to be able to remove the air-end?

I use Velcro too, I mount the air end to the bottom of the phantom and Velcro the FPV transmitter to it. I Velcro the mini IOSD to the side of the battery housing.
