Looked up the location where I am headed to fly today, and B4UFLY shows a heliport about a mile away. The icon is in the middle of a large new apartment complex (Google maps satellite view still shows it under construction.)
I am going to figure I have done my due diligence and not try to notify whoever used to own the facility. Or do I have to call the apartment management company? :)
If GEO fencing was implemented this means I would still have to self-certify every time I fly there even though the helipad no longer exists...

    Thanks for the link!
Tried calling the listed phone number today, it belongs to another company now.
There is nothing for them in a Google search.
Looks like a stale record in the FAA database...
