Asus Nexus 7 2013 Won't Connect to Go App

My new P3P working just fine with my iPhone but no luck getting it to connect to my Nexus 7 2013. Tablet seems to work with Litchi though.

Any ideas? Anyone else with this issue?

Tablet is up to date with latest firmware revision.

That is weird. I just purchased a used one and just completely wiped the device when I got it. I updated the OS to the latest version, which I think is called Marshmallow. Once there the first thing I did was install the DJI GO app. I thought I might have to go in to developer mode and enable the USB as well as some other tips I've seen online, but I didn't need to. It just connected right away.

The problem might be with the USB connection. If you connect the Nexus to a computer using the same USB cable, can you read and write files?

The other possible USB problem would be with the tablet's USB jack. If it's been used a lot for charging, it could have been damaged.
