With the registration thing in effect now, I have a couple of questions. I did a short search but couldn't find the answers.
I'm guessing you have to keep your aircraft in LOS at all times now. I do but how does this effect guys flying out to 2000 feet or more. You can't see it to control it other than your tablet or whatever on your Tx. Is that illegal now?
I'm also guessing flying with FPV goggles is illegal now.
People that buy P3s for the long range and doing missions not being in LOS ...Why bother getting those birds?
The manufacturers keep promoting these long distance aircraft anyway.
If you do the commercial part of flying, are you exempt from this?
This is one of the reasons I haven't invested in a bird like the P3. I still fly my three P1s around within LOS and am ok with that for now. I'm not sure how high I fly. They get small and hard to see real fast. I'm not up high long. Just long enough to get a good view of the land. I doubt over 2-300 feet.
