Wind Surfer Antenna - Anyone used it?

Has anyone here used a windsurfer antenna to extend tx power?

I saw a video claiming to fly 1.2 km ( 1200 meters) with stock tx.

I`d love to know which Futaba - please post here a good option. I`m just asking out of curiosity, there`s claim of 9-12 dbi gain with the windsurfer antenna.

I have the Futaba 8FGs and have taken it to 2.5km so Id say that's pretty good. Here is a little shorter test flight at 2.15km
