Just one example of many.

I'm referring to the needed cable between the avl58 and hero 3+ camera.
The one that dji refuses to include.
The one that amateur hobbyists are forced to create on their own.

Ya see, I'm lazy. I don't want to mess around tinkering with itty bitty little wires and probably wind up damaging something beyond repair. 30 years ago, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

But then, dji could be really really nice to us customers who are spending thousands of bucks on their excellent equipment and give us the proper cable to begin with. After all, they were wise enough to spot an error on a power cable and fixed it. So why not supply the right connector?

No, that's a Micro USB. You need a Mini USB-AV cable.
I'm not aware of any cable that goes directly from the GoPro to the AVL58 without soldering.
There are plenty of cables for Fatshark and Immersion transmitters for this purpose though. Buy one of those and just change the connector on the end. The wiring diagrams are available on the DJI site and it's just a matter or connecting a few wires. You're going to have to solder anyway to get power to the AVL58.

No, you need a USB-AV adaptor. I'm sure I've said this 5 times now in this thread and your other one.
A USB-AV adaptor like this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gopro-Gopro3-Ou ... B00CJ5UCG6

You will have to solder though. If you don't want to solder at all, then sell the Phantom and GoPro and buy a Phantom Vision. Then it will work right out of the box which is what I think you want.
