Thank you, if I purchase one I will be using it in remote locations with little or no phone reception .

That's all good ,,once app loaded they all comunicate (phone,,remote,,aircraft,,)no cellphone coverage needed after app loaded and wifi set up to phantom

However, you will need to pre cache the map while wifi connected.
