What is the P3's ceiling?

500m from takeoff (homepoint) with proper settings, 400ft advised in USA by FAA

I noticed very little difference at 8,300'.
So it would follow that when taking off from a lower altitude, service ceiling is effectively infinite and the limiting factor would be battery or possible RC range. I've never heard of someone climbing from sea level to above 8300' but aside from battery limitation, that should be possible. Is that right?

No. No app will allow you to fly more then 1640' above take off level. You were mentioning a take of altitude of 11,000. Nothing about sea level.
