I have gotten scared on mine a couple times where I get a lost RC signal message for a fraction of a second. It has never tried to return home yet but this does scare me. I have no idea why it does this because i have full strength that in a millisecond drops to no signal and then comes back to full strength. Often I am not moving, the quad is hovering and I am in direct line of sight and the quad is only a couple hundred feet away.
What do you think is going on? I've heard something about loose antennna issues but honestly this is a very intermittent problem as I can go several flights without one of these lost RC blips. Is this just want I need to accept for the product as the way it operates?[/]
Good point..
Who knows what the fault is, I'm guessing it could be a firmware issue, but we don't really know if its an issue with the latest DJI Go app OR the phantom 3 standard it self..
The weak RC signal doesn't appear to tell the quad something is wrong.. which is why no return to home is triggered.
That's why I think it's a firmware issue....
Either way this thread has been active for weeks now and DJI have not had the decency to look into the firmware and do something about it.. that makes it even more worrying.
I'm not the only one with this issue - others are reporting it too.
I can't recall if my first p3 standard had this warning message appear.
I do remember the strong interference message on my first one but never the "weak RC signal".
Keep the replies coming guys.. This needs looking into asap!!
