Using a tablet with Phantom 4

Has anyone modified there holder to fit a tablet so the cable can connect from the bottom or top. I have the extension and the tablet fits. The problem is my HDMI port is right in the middle of the tablet leaving no way to plug it in. I was going to drill then dremmel the top of the extension but wanted to see if anyone had run into this.

Not pushing iOS on anyone, but it will flip the screen in any direction, can your tablet not invert?
