Hi. I own a new P2V and although I know it is recommended to update firmware, have read stories about problems arising after firmware updates. Want to hear advice about this. Thanks

I have a P2V,
And I run all the newest firmware ( Tx, receiver, MC, ect )
I've had no issues.

I think most of the problems are USER error, or mis-match firmware updates.
Or their computers fail to instal firmware correctly!

I bought my P2V in Nov. 2013.

Hope this helps

Take care fly safe!

Thanks Jerry. Good advice. Time to read and read to avoid the user error in the process.
Are you flying GPS mode or NAZA mode? I plan to configure the NAZA mode to use it specifically for the home lock feature and the RTH toggle mode.

I fly mostly GPS ( phantom mode )
I've been messing with NAZA-M a bit but not too much,
still new to NAZA yet! But I'm sure when I figure it all out,
I will only fly NAZA! But for now, keeping it simple! Lol

Take care, fly safe!

Not updates mine for a long time, not seen anything mentioned that I thought `yes I must have that`. Add to that the risk of problems (however slim).

Watched some vids on flying using waypoints last night and couldn`t think of a single use for it. Don`t see the point of standing in a field twiddling my thumbs whilst my Phantom goes off and does it`s own thing.

Sure others disagree though.
