I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like 2G support for the Garmin GTU 10 will end on 12/31/15. Take a look at this review from Amazon for more details.

I just read that on Garmin's website. It will be non-functional in 2016. I don't think Garmin has another product out there to replace it at this point. My P3P is in the mail this week, hadn't considered a tracker but it's frustrating to see this "lowish" cost option going away.
