How often should you switch out the propellers? Or just keep them on until you feel like some new air choppers?

200 flights is a good number to start off with unless they have been in contact with something or have fatigue, cracks etc..
 
I like to chop weeds with mine. And bugs.

I change mine once cleaning them doesn't make em shine anymore. No real time to replace em until chipped, pitted or no longer tighten anymore.

One good rule of thumb is to replace all four at the same time, even though only one or two look worn or damaged (after a wall crash, leaf chopping, bug strike, taking off from from dusty roads etc).

They get oddly dirty sometimes in flight. Like, wtf is going on up there?

That is likely bug guts. Little black marks on the props.. Lol RIP beetle
