For the 4th of July holiday, the FAA is reminding residents and visitors to Washington, D.C. that the city and surrounding communities are a “No Drone Zone.”

    This is so silly.

Why don't they stop the nanny'ing.

Let people use their common sense rather than blanket-bans and extreme regulations that do a lot more harm than good. I fail to see what harm a small 'drone' can do, say compared to... a car! Not that I can't think up terrible abuse using 'drones'. But the same can be thought up using... cars and a bunch of other things. A few weeks ago someone ran a car on purpose into a bunch of people, killing several people.

Let us not live by the lowest common denominator. Let us be grown ups and rather than nannying grown up people, teach people to use their common sense. Like; don't fly while drunk and crash into the White House Lawn...

    My 2 cents.
