Test flight P3S, FW 1.8.10, Go app 2.9.1 Results for you

Is there anyway to roll back with iOS. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge for my phone, but use the iPad mini to fly for the bigger screen. I hate the iOS app compared to Android, even with the same build number. It is vastly different and much less intuitive and more annoying to use. MUCH prefer the android app.

There is, but I'm a Android guy myself. Look through the other threads on the forum on this issue, others have posted YouTube videos on how to do this with ios. Or search YouTube itself. But I also thought this issue affected Android only.

Nigel,im still on 2.9.0. Whats improved on .9.1? I havent had any issues but havent flown in awhile,gud oul irish weather and work. Thanks in advance

2.9.0 .... ? Never used it - my machine came with 2.9.1 originally.

1.6.08 .............. 2.9.1 Total rubbish FW
1.07.009 .......... 2.9.1 Good but was BETA FW
1.07.009 .......... 2.9.1 VG official FW
1.07.009 .......... 3.1.0 FW good, Go had lag and mistarts
1.8.10 .............. 3.1.0 Range reduced and Go still problems
1.8.10 .............. 3.1.2 Where's the valium ! Please DJI - why oh why did you ever ??
1.07.009 .......... 3.0.0 through to 3.1.2 version to find if any were good.
1.07.009 .......... 2.9.1 Back to this as good combo.

I admit that I will be trying 3.0.1 Go again based on others posts above ...

My setup being :

Argtec Antenna system with centre STICK antenna - as supplied with Argtec kit.
Icarus 27dbm software
Nexus 7 Vers 2 16Gb Tablet
Android 6.01
Du Screen Recorder with audio
Camera on default settings

Would like to hear about your testing of 3.0.1 myself, as not only is this the version I use but also use the same tablet as you. And using FW 1.7.9

I flew again today with 3.0.1 and 1.07.009 .... all was good but I kept getting video stops and lag ...

I think its me .... not the Go or tablet.

I'm quite happy to stay with 2.9.1 or 3.0.1 .... but not 3.0.0 or later than 3.0.1.

My Cavion tab has 2.9.1 and my Nexus now 3.0.1 ... I will try them against each other later when wind goes down ...

Today when flying ... the P3S was leaning about 10 degrees against the wind and occasionally shoved sideways !!

Just out of curiosity, have you used Litchi with firmware1.8.1 or are you just sticking to Go app?

The reason I ask is I have the same hardware mods as you and currently running FW 1.7.9. I tend to use Litchi over Go though.

Im getting this same error when I roll back. I had to go back to 1.8.10 with 2.9.1 Go app. Any one know a fix to this?
