Wow! Jus tried that Google Services update and it works great. I flew for 45min without any problem on my Samsung S5.
One thing to note is that there are several versions of that upgrade APP. There is also a version for Android less than 5.0.
It depends on CPU etc. I googled it and thefe is a whole site mentioning every version.
On a side note, it seems that after all Android 5.0 was'nt that good. Samsung begin to roll out ver. 5.1.1 to improve stability and power consumption. There is also an update in the coming days for the tab 4 with Android 5.1.1. If Google services are with that old crap app I will onstall this one and hope that everything goes well.
