Drops yes.
After deductibles and plan costs, after a few months I don't see any benefit. Only if you drop or damage your phone or tablet VERY soon after you purchase the plan. If you're careful with your device, I'd skip the ST. Others may have a different opinion of course. But remember this...Square Trade is NOT in the charity business.
