Simple DIY Tablet Holder Extension (For iPad with a case)

It's frustrating for phantom 3 users like myself that use an iPad Air 1 or 2 when we can't have a case on our iPad because it makes it too big for the holder on the controller. The iPad is then vulnerable if dropped. A simple extension allows for the tablet and case to fit. You can buy a 3d printed one on eBay for around 25$, but I found that too expensive. I made one out of Legos, then I glued it together, and finally I used a soldering iron to solder/melt/fuse the plastic pieces together. As of now, it's working great. Here are some pictures. I think it's clever. Is it a modification of the one you posted a couple of months ago?

Personally however, I don't fly with a case at all. I'm in a very warm area and a case hurts more than it helps in my experience.

Funny that you remember my last post. No I saw that no one had posted to my last one, so I thought I would just re post it. Good point about the heat though.
