Does anyone know how to set gains. what would be a good setting for turning. When I try to pan a shot it has jerky movements. What are your settings for smooth flying?

I take it you're using the DJI RC transmitter? As far as I'm aware, the gains do nothing to make yaw control more fluid, it's all in the piloting. If you're using another RC transmitter you will probably be able to adjust the yaw sensitivity on the controller itself.

Yea. I thought it was possible in assistance software

Yeah but that's really more to do with how fast the autopilot reacts to being blown by wind and getting itself reorientated. It sadly doesn't affect yaw control sensitivity from the controller.

I also wish there was a way to slow down the rotation speed like with the AR Drone 2.0

thats what Im saying. I figured if the AR Drone could do it this can.

There is a gain setting for yaw in the assistant software, but I was told to never mess with those default settings

Don't fear the gains.

Look at the second post in this thread and follow the link.

It will de-mystify them for you.
