Can anyone tell me how to record video on a smartphone

i have the opposite proble. my videos record to the drone SD card AND my phone. HOW DO I TURN OFF THE AUTOMATIC RECORDING TO MY SMARTPHONE? i am afraid those recordings will max out my data usage. Can you help?

It doesn't use your data plan at all. The video is being sent from the drone to your phone via radio transmission.

You can turn video caching to your smartphone off in the DJI Go app.
