Recommendations.

Currrently fly a P3s, looking to upgrade. Looking at Mavic or Inspire 1. Watching classifieds, appears I can pick up a used Inspire 1 for same price as new Mavic. Having a hard time deciding which way to go. I know the Mavic is smaller and easier to carry around, but that really does not matter than much to me. Just wonder what everyone thinks would be the better drone to buy.

I am in the same situation. I have a P3S, and think I want the Mavic. Just for the portability when doing travel shots.

My only concern is the smaller size is not as wind resistant, and the having to constantly focus the camera.

I was leaning toward Magic, but for same money could get the Inspire. I like the looks of the Inspire better.

The Inspire is definitely a nice looking bird. However, it might not be a good choice depending on you budget. Just buying a hard case will set you back about $450.

Is there anyone that has an Inspire that hand launches and catches?

I've never tried hand catching my Inspire 1. I'd do it like this if I had to for some reason:

It does come in a semi-hard case. It leaves a lot to be desired though.
