Radio Station Tower

The open area (football fields) I would like to start learning is within two city blocks of an AM/FM radio station tower. Also the location is within a block of a school district's bus radio repeater tower.

Should I expect difficulties and seek out another location?

Try some low test flights first, you'll probably be ok. One of my two runaways occurred when I was in line and about 1km from a series of four powerful offshore antennas. I don't know what frequency they are at, may have been a coincidence. I've since flown in the same area twice without issues. Maybe those antennas are intermittent or can shift frequency. Give it a try and let us know.
