This is a great group and everyone is really helpful. I truly appreciate that. So here goes another newbee question:

Are there any extra concerns or settings that should be configured when flying over water?

I noticed the other day i took my P4 to the beach and was flying low over where the sand and water meet and my p4 reacted to the wave. It was really strange. I am figuring it got confused because the surface was moving...?

VPS is active when flying low to the ground in P-mode. And, it does not work well over water, so that might explain that odd behavior. If you want to deactivate it for positioning purposes, you can fly in A-mode instead.
