Question around Waypoints and Signal

if i go around a section and make waypoints. and save it, the next time i go does the drone still need signal on Phantom 3 standard? i.e if it looses signal will it return home and not complete the mission?

Using DJI Go it will RTH (or whatever you have it set to do on signal loss)

Using Litchi it was complete the mission with or without a signal
