Preprogrammed waypoints

Do I have to go Litchi if I want to set up a programmed flight before take off for a P4?

There are a good few apps that will allow a programmed waypoint flight, however litchi is one of the few I am aware of that will do it autonomously, I.e. carry on the mission even if you lose connection.
