Phone mount clamp

Hi

Could anyone let me know if there is any way of making the sliding clamp smaller on the controller as I use my iPhone 6s + but the clamp doesn't slide small enough in landscape position to hold the phone

I thought of fitting some small brackets but also use a iPad occasionally and would get in the way

Fold out the the tabs halfway down the holder and you can adjust to suit.
