Thanks for the APK install tip. I just got the DJ Go software on my Kindle, looks good, just need to take it out for a test.

Got any updates on if you still use the Kindle and how it's worked (the wifi)? I'm using my iphone 6plus right now and have thought about using a kindle I've had sitting in a box with a cracked screen. I'll replace it and make this a dedicated flying table if so! Thanks

I don't use the kindle anymore. Reason being I can't get the map to work. So in the app it's like I'm flying blind once the phantom goes out of my eyesight. I ASSUME this is because the kindle does not carry a gps pre installed like your iPhone or other tablets. Let me know if this helps.

I didn't wanna spend a lot for the drone screen. So I went out and got this tablet, was reading the reviews on it. Works excellent!! And the processing speed is great.
I would recommend this for flying to anyone. Doesn't glitch or freeze.

Your picture is too small, we cannot read it.

I've tried so many ways.
I can't get the app on my kindle fire
Changed setting to accept apps from unknown sources
Have google play and the kindle isn't listed as compatible devices/
After downloading the apk file it says it has problems parsing the application

If you changed the setting to allow unknown apps you can just go to the dji website and download the app there.

I tried that too
Says it's installed but it doesn't show the kindle as a compatible device
