Thought I would share a problem I have had with cracks forming on my Phantom 2 and a solution that may help prevent them in the future. I did not get much help from Dji so instead I ordered a new shell and switched things over.

To hopefuly help prevent these cracks from forming again I took some fiberglass mesh and formed it below where the motor's go coating it with Shoe Goo. I have no idea if this will work or not, and only time will tell. Still I watched how racers of RC cars and trucks use this to give more support. I will post any changes if they happen.

Along with the shell I thought it would be a good time to change out the motors. In the past I have used the Ipower motors from http://www.Iflight-rc.com and they have proved to be very powerful, quiet and so stable. And now after a few flights I recommend them for the Phantom 2. And just to add a little Flare to the upgrades I placed a world war 2 decal on my phantom and controller.

Oh cool, the iPower motors come stock with CW / CCW. I'm too lazy to watch your videos. Do you have a photo of your upgrade? Or details on flight time with the new motors?
