Update - cost of DJI quote was 450 aud. I paid immediately as the separate parts and time to self fix was much more. Drone arrived this week and looks brand new so it must be a refurb which is completely fine! It look like they just swapped it out for a new one.
Thanks DJI - now ...can I get DJI care refresh on a refurb drone?

Thanks all - particually all the guys who suggested sending it in anyway just to see....I was going to write it off.

Craig Carter, I'm in Watkins Glen, NY. My camera was broken off also. Go to DJI Support, then click repairs. I put everything in a box and sent it in. Let me know how it goes!
