p4 gimbal overload problem

I dont see any damage on the gimbal.. i was flying around at high wind then noticed the gimbal twitching... Now i updated the firmware and and get gimbal overload message. The gimbals works but the motors get REALLY hot. I do not understand what happened. any suggestions.

I was flying in sports mode and the gimbal overloaded and went limp. I just landed the bird, shut down and restarted good to go. It just got over worked moving so fast.

Silly question You have taken the polyester gimbal packing off, the one thats says Remove before Flying.
