new phantom user

I just bought a orginal phantom, tried to get it set up, and following the quick start guide, when I plug in the battery in the drone, the status LED just stays green solid. I can't seem to find this status in any of the instructions. Please help....

The quick start quide does not profide for sufficient info to understand the bird and to operate the bird in a responsible way. Therefore I advise you to download the full manual and study this at least twice before starting to fly. You can find the manuals for each type of phantom on the website of dji.

Have you tried to calibrate the compass? Maybe it'll go away if you do that.
